Lake Michigan, the second largest Great Lake by volume with just under 1,180 cubic miles of water, is the only Great Lake entirely within the United States. Approximately 118 miles wide and 307 miles long, Lake Michigan has more than 1,600 miles of shoreline. Averaging 279 feet in depth, the lake reaches 925 feet at its deepest point. The lake's northern tier is in the colder, less developed upper Great Lakes region, while its more temperate southern basin contains the Milwaukee and Chicago metropolitan areas.

Type of Fishing

March - April River fishing in Ohio and Pennslyvania for Steelhead in the tributary streams of Lake Erie.

May - June - There will be nicer weather for southern Lake Michigan for a mix bag catch of the main five fish.

July - August - This is the best time for a chance at trophy Kings.  The weather is stable and the fish are larger.  You can look forward to more Steelhead, Coho, Lake trout and Browns.

September  - Great River Fishing!  Come check out the Platte and Betsie River with us for some large Coho & Chinook Salmon.  This is the last chance at large late spawning 4 year old Kings.

October - December - Back again - River fishing in Ohio and Pennslyvania for Steelhead in the tributary streams of Lake Erie.
